This fast paced one button game is based on an advertising campaign by the German DIY (do-it-yourself) company OBI. A simple game mechanic with a stylish look: The game character is running automatically. Players need skill and a good timing in order to avoid obstacles, collect home improvement products and trigger special events. The common, flat side-scroller view is enriched by short but impressive 3D sequences. Slow motion special events with camera movement blend seamlessly with the rest of the game experience due to the fact that the whole game is produced in Unity. The game was launched on the company website, Facebook, App Store and Google Play.
Our contribution: design document, UX design, definition of game items, 3D events and points system, concept for highscores, Facebook integration and social features.
